Happy 40th to the lovely and eerie Gentlemen Take Polaroids. 🎉 Things kind of slow down as I roll on into this finessing stage. Trying not to force any expectations of when I might wrap up, and to instead just enjoy the process.

Illustrated Man...I’ve been a big fan of Ray Bradbury so years ago I illustrated the cover of a Bradbury anthology and years later my older brother who collected science fiction books was super excited as he showed me the book I had illustrated that he found on eBay that was signed by Bradbury and he wanted me to sign it next to Bradbury’s signature which seemed like I wasn’t worthy to do that but he convinced me so I did it. I'm not just a cosplayer, I'm also a costume designer and aspiring character designer. This is one of my favorite theoretical designs I completed during my BFA at @calarts. It's Mr. Dark from Something Wicked this Way Comes by one of my favorite authors, Ray Bradbury. While reading the story I picked up on the Egyptian motifs so I wanted to design Mr. Dark after Osiris. I also knew that I wanted gold as a through line for all of my characters, so I needed to figure out how to gold leaf my renderings.
