The group of young adults sit at a table, gathered around, as Sevika looks at her deck of cards. Felicia sits on her right, her legs crossed over with her hands on her lap as Benzo sits to the right of Sevika. The last drop had been open for about 3 months now - and business was booming. As the most well known bar in Zaun (being run by vander, it was only natural) it managed to bring in alot of customers, some regular residents beginning to form. The person sitting across from Sevika is Meela, a young woman who had become a regular at the last drop after coming a few times every week.

Sevika looks up from her deck of cards up to Meela, as Felicia leans back and punches Benzo's arm. "What are they even playing?" She asks the man, as she hadn't really been paying attention.

"Theyre playing a game called scabby queen. Some people call it Scabby Bitch." Benzo leans back in order to answer, before leaning forwards again to pay attention to the game at hand. Felicia does the same as her eyes wandering to the bet; a bag of coins set in the middle of the table. It looks tempting- to take, that is. She could grab it, if she really wanted to-

"Pick a card, then," Sevika coaxed as she held her deck out to Meela, allowing her to pick a card. "Any card. It doesn't matter which card, hm? So long as you don't get the queen that is." The woman smiles at Meela, her eyes surveying the other woman.

Ah, yes. Scabby queen was a well known game amongst zaunites who indulged in gambling- you were given a set amount of cards, and you would need to try and evade getting the queen card. At the start, when you are given your initial deck, you need to get rid of all your pairs in said deck. The other player, or players, would then pick from another players deck and go back and fourth until only 2 players remained. If you were playing with 2 players, you would simply go back and fourth with eachother. Then, you would need to try and get rid of your deck by getting all the pairs out, without getting the queen card- the player who had the queen card when the other ran out of pairs was then the loser, or the scabby queen. It was simple, and it was recommended that you play with 3 or more players; however, playing with 2 made it more intense.

Currently, Sevika's deck housed the queen card. She smiles at Meela, as she watches the other woman reach her fingersout and hover over a few different cards. "Come on, Meela, it's not good to waste so much time trying to find a suitable card." She huffs.

The game went on for a while longer, until eventually;

"Oh for fucks sake!" Meela exclaims as Sevika places her last pair down, leaving the former with only the queen card. "You win every single time! How?!" The brunette groans, rolling her eyes as she places the queen card down.

"Ah, ah, ah, you know I don't like to share my techniques." Sevika smirks, as she nudges Felicia. "Move, beauty." She huffs as she pushes her chair back, grabbing the bag of coins from the middle of the table as she starts heading for the bar. Felicia says her goodbyes to Benzo and Meela, allowing the two at the table some time to talk by themselves as she hurries after sevika.

"Incredible luck, Sevi," she smiles as she walks alongside the other woman, gliding past a few other patrons walking past with drinks in hands. "How do you always win those games?"

"And what makes you think I'd tell you, hmm?" Sevika raises an eyebrow at the other woman as she takes a seat at the bar; luckily, there were 2 free seats beside silco who was scribbling something down in a notebook. Felicia plops herself down on the seat in between Silco and Sevika, as Vander makes his way over.

"Win another game, did you, Sevika?" He smiles at her as she wipes a glass down with the rag in his hand.

"You bet your ass I did." Sevika huffs proudly. "Get us some drinks, will you? For me and Fel." She nods her head in the direction of the purple haired-woman sitting beside her.

"You got it, ma'am," vander chuckles, a smile on his face. "Just the usual, yeah?"

"Mhm," Sevika nods as she places the bag of coins on the bar. Felicia shifts her chair over in order to grab them, taking a peek inside at the golden, circular pieces of metal inside. Sevika raises an eyebrow at her antics, but her face goes back to its resting expression as vander slides 2 cups over in the direction of the two women.

"No drink for me, Sevika?" Silco muses as he looks up from his notebook, raised eyebrow and smile on his face.

"Get your own damn drink." sevika rolls her eyes as she picks up her cup and takes a swig. Felicia looks over at the man sitting beside her, sliding her cup to him. "There you go. I'm not feeling too thirsty right now."

"Thanks, Fel." Silco doesn't protest as he grabs the drink and takes a swig, before going back to writing in his notebook.

A while later, most of the patrons had filed out as it reached closer to closing time. Meela had left, saying her goodbyes to everyone with a hug, but a kiss on the cheek to those who would allow it (vander and felicia, of course, and benzo too.)

Benzo had left as well, leaving Felicia, Vander, Sevika and silco at the bar.

"Geez, its so weird with it being all empty in here," felicia mutters as she rubs her eye. "Reminds me of when we were in here before you opened for real." She smiles as she slowly pushes herself to her feet.

"Feels like centuries ago, doesn't it?" Vander laughs, as wipes the last glass down. Felicia stands, leaning against the bar for a moment before pushing herself off fully. "I'm off to the ladies room."

Sevika quickly follows, standing up, "I am too." She nods. Vander nods his head back, before turning to converse with silco.

The two women head to the bathroom, the door swinging closed behind them as Felicia makes her way over to look in the mirror for a moment, tucking the stray strand of hair hanging loose behind her ear as she brings her braid to rest over her shoulder. Sevika appears behind her in the mirror, arms crossed over her chest. "Making sure you look okay, princess?" She muses, a smirk on her face.

"You know I always need to look my best." Felicia rolls her eyes with a laugh. She wipes her cheek, before turning around to face Sevika. She smiles, as the woman standing in front of her places her arms on either side of her, her palms resting on the bathroom counters. "Just what are you doing, Sevi?" She raises an eyebrow, a smirk on her face.

"Just admiring the view in front of me, as one should do when a gorgeous woman is in front of her." Sevika hums, as she reaches up her hand up to gently grab Felicia's chin. The other woman hums an 'mhm' sound in delight. "You know-" felicia goes to speak, but she's cut off when Sevika leans forward and kisses her. She pulls away soon after, however she's dragged back in by felicia as she grabs sevikas face. The two kiss for a moment, as it gets more heated, as sevika's hands travel down to grip at Felicias waist. It goes on for a while, their hands running over eachother, however its mostly seviks grabbing at the woman in front of her. Sevika moves her hands down, hoisting felicia onto the counter.

Lottie

Cigarette and solo cup in one hand, other hand intertwined with your own

She drags you along when she talks to people

Arm round your shoulder CONSTANTLY

She makes you reapply her lipstick for her when it smudges off on her cup

She was at your house before the party helping you decide on an outfit

"I think you should wear this" and she proceeds to pull a shirt out of your closet you haven't wore since middle school "okay fuck off go sit down and be quiet"

Laura Lee

She wears the cutest looking outfits ever like omg

She has her arm wrapped around yours the entire time

Frowns if you even so much as sniff any of the beer n shit

She manages to get your guys' song blaring out the speakers

Proceeds to force you to dance with her and if you don't she frowns and goes to get one of the yellowjackets

Natalie

Oh shes right by the keg

You attempt to share drinks with her (however she drinks at least 3 quarters and then shoves the cup in your hand while she goes to get more)

Gets you to light her cigarette for her

She repeatedly puts her arm around your shoulder and pulls you into her side

Usually takes whatever drugs her friends have got

Can't walk in a straight line when its time to go home

Rubs her eyeliner into a huge smudge and looks like a raccoon

Mari

Shes the life of the party no questions asked

Spills atleast half of her drink because shes jumping around the place

Screams the lyrics to whatever songs playing as she twirls you around

Drags you to the bathroom with her so she can check her makeup and you just watch

This girl is always tripping over her feet I swear

Whenever she loses you she starts screaming like a banshee

"BABE??? WHERE THE FUCK ARE YOU??" "MARI TURN AROUND." "oh! Whered you go?"

Stands outside the bathroom like a dog waiting for you whenever you go in

Akilah

Gets separated from you so easily like oh my gosh 😭

Shes there holding your hand when youre walking through a group one second and the next shes gone

You then spend the next couple of minutes searching for her

And shes usually over with one of the yellowjackets she had managed to find

"Oh, there you are. Took you long enough" with a smile whenever you walk over

You guys hold hands and spin in a circle like its a middle school dance

Misty

She made you help her with makeup before the party (if she wore any)

spent a while trying to decide on her hairstyle

When you guys get there she clings onto you like a koala bear

Sings out of key with you

She drags you over to find somewhere quiet to sit (granted there's no where super quiet but just one where there isn't a lot of people)

She always needs to have her eyes on you like omg

Jackie

Spends her time doing stupid shit with you

She routinely goes missing from your side

When she eventually returns she sometimes has shauna in tow

However, she always leaves for a reason and its to get gossip

"Babe you'll never guess what me and shauna just found out about.."

At the end of the night shes either spilled her drink on herself, you, or someone else

She somehow ALWAYS ends up losing a piece of jewellery whether its an earring, a ring, or a bracelet

Makes you search for it as she coaches you on where to look

Shauna

Gripping your hand because she doesn't like the fact randy is near you guys (she cannot STAND his ass as we all know)

She trips over herself and drops her cup

Picks it up and walks back to the keg with her head down in embarrassment

Gets gossip with Jackie and then reports back to you

When she drinks enough she starts laughing at EVERYTHING

"Name" "what?" and her ass bursts out giggling

She is so stewpid..

Van

The minute you guys get there her hand is wrapped around your wrist and shes dragging you to get a drink with her

Spends the night making stupid ass jokes

"Hey. 2 goldfish are in a tank together, and one turns to the other one," "..uh huh." "And it asks 'hey, do you know how to drive this thing?'"

She routinely breaks away from you to go say hi/chat with other people

Forces you to dance with her and she spins you around (however she doesnt really need to force you)

Makes you spin her around too

You guys go into the bathroom together and start throwing water at eachother

When you wait outside the bathroom for her she comes out with wet hands from washing them and pretends to sneeze before she shakes the water onto you

Before you guys leave she re-fills her cup for the road 😭

Endless yapping

Only time she shuts up is to have a drink

When you guys walk she holds your hand and swings your guys' arms 😭

Everytime she finishes a drink she flips the cup around and tries to land it upside down

Which she fails almost every single time

She makes you come with her to say hi to everyone (even if you don't know the person)

You have to make her dance with you but it doesn't take a lot of convincing

By the time its time to go her hair is all messed up and she's lost atleast one accessory (whether its the bandana she was wearing, a necklace, an earring, etc.)

Emily has her arm wrapped loosely around Jessica's shoulders as the other girl rests her head on the formers shoulder, her right hand playing with the lace trim of her shirt.

It was movie night in their shared apartment, and Emily had been allowed to pick the movie for the first time in a few weeks - which meant it was goodbye cliche romance films and hello horror movies. She had spent too many nights at the Washington Lodge, staying up late with Josh to watch horror films in the at-home cinema, the two shoveling popcorn in their mouth (Emily's choice had always been sweet, but Josh preferred salty, which she found nothing short of disgusting.)

The movie they were watching was about a group of friends going to a haunted house which, of course, turns out to actually be a cover-up for some blood-thirsty cult. Emily watched intently, shoving fistful after fistful of popcorn into her mouth, meanwhile, Jess would yelp at any of the gore she saw on screen.

"Jess, look," Emily nudges her, trying to urge Jessica to pull her face out the formers chest and look at the screen. "Nothings even happening right now." Of course, that was a lie. They were nearing a part of the movie which was actually quite horrifying; she had watched this movie with Josh a fair few times, and this one specific scene just never left her mind. Jessica lifted her head off Emily's chest, looking uo at the screen, just before someone gets their face destroyed with a hammer. Jessica squeals, gagging as she sits up, covering her face with her hands.

"Oh, em, you're horrible!" She exclaims as she hits Emily's shoulder.

"What? Can big bad Jessica not watch a horror movie?" Emily coos, reaching up to tug on one of Jessica's braids. This causes the blonde to scowl, before she lays her head back on Emily's chest.

one step, then two steps. "Okay, matt, you've got this," Matt assures himself as he steps onto the ice skating rink, gripping onto the railing around it for dear life. Ashley, on the other hand, has already made her way across the rink and is jumping and doing little twirls as Matt watches in pure admiration.

"You okay there, sweetie?" Ashley asks with a little laugh as she skates back over to Matt, her hands reaching out to grab his shoulders and gently guide him to stand on the ice rink. Matt nods, a weak mhm being spoken by him as he almost loses his balance- Ashley manages to keep him up though.

"Its easy, okay? I promise. You just need to trust yourself, go with the flow!" Ash encourages as she skates a little bit forward, taking Matt with her. "Without blocking the entrance to the rink." She smiles.

"Yeah, okay, totally," Matt nods as he's forced to let go of the railing, standing up straight with his arms out to keep his balance. Ashley snorts with laughter as she watches him, as she lets go of his shoulders and moves away a bit. "Ash!" He frowns as he watches her.
