Finally got to meet hip-hop legend Edo G. last night at the @mideastclub in Boston. He’s one of Boston’s finest, born and raised in Roxbury (or as he famously wrote, “The Berry, but not the fruit, y’all!”). I perform his 1991 classic tune “I Got To Have It” regularly during my live MPC beatmaking sets. Last night, he put on an amazing show with a live band featuring my friend @tony2.0bender who I consider one of the best drummers I’ve seen play.
