The only thing you need to smoke is the competition. I don’t advocate smoking 🚬 but that’s not what I’m referring to. Nor am I speaking only of our business competitors; but rather the inner persona that tries to hinder your growth, productivity and self-worth. We each have a naysayer within who tries to shut down own champion. You know the voices that speak “oh you can’t do that”, “you didn’t come from that pedigree”, “you’ll never_____.” Well I’m heat to say BUMP THAT!!!! ** Each day I arise and put that inner voice in check as I review my to-do list for the day and my goals/objectives. I then write in my journal the things I am already #grateful for and gratitude in advance of what is to be accomplished. *** Perhaps your negative chatter is external (friends, family, acquaintances, etc.) then learn to speak boldly that their feedback is not needed. I’ve learned over the years to boldly say what needs to be said. Sure, quite often it is expressed in love so not hurt them, but others should know when their words/actions bruise you. **** Lastly, sometimes silence is best when people attempt to diminish your visions, whether commission or by omission. Do not feel a need to always defend yourself against foolishness. You’ll extend energy that could have been used on your goals. Just know that you are not alone as you pursue living your best life!
