During the course of the FBI's investigation into Hillary Clinton's use of a private email server, agents did not seize the Blackberry phones or other communication devices used by Clinton's inner circle at the State Department. The revelation was made public last week in the Department of Justice's much-anticipated inspector general's report. What are the details? DOJ inspector general Michael Horowitz noted in his final report that his investigators asked FBI agents assigned to the Clinton case â known as "MidYear" â why they did not seize the devices given they may have been used to store classified emails. According to the report, the agents' main excuse was because "the culture of mishandling classified information at the State Department which made the quantity of potential sources of evidence particularly vast." This revelation puzzled Horowitz's team, which believed a "middle ground" approach could have been used, instead of altogether failing to seize potential evidence. "A middle ground âŚ
Comey claims the âmemosâ he leaked, were his personal property, like a diary. He said there were copies, one in his home safe, and one with his employer, the FBI. So, itâs perfectly normal to give a copy of your diary to your employer, right...???
FBI agents never asked Steele if he was the source for the 9/23/2016 Yahoo article that first mentioned intelligence tips regarding Carter Pageâs potential ties to Russians (hint: he was the source).
But why... Did they not know about the article, which made claims very similar to those they had received in the early reports from Steele himself? Yes they knew, they used it in their FISA to surveille Carter Page. So why didnât they ask Steele if he was the source for the article? Was it because they didnât want to know, and assumed it was him but didnât want to burn him as a source? Â
Did they just assume it was one of their team, because leaks to the press is kinda how they roll? One would think that they would need to know if this information was coming from the same source or multiple sources before putting it in a FISA application, no? Did they even ask the reporter about his sources? The reporter might have tried to protect his source, but they certainly might have extracted some information to lead them towards or away from the idea that Steele was the source for the article.
Could the crossfire hurricane team have been âwaiting on an article to appearâ, in fact expecting one? Certainly wouldnât ask to many questions if that was the case. I havenât seen evidence of this, but when nothing else makes sense you start to hypothesize. According to the IG report, the FBI would only learn that Steele sourced the article from public records after the first FISA was already submitted. Leave it to the public record to answer questions the FBI wouldnât even ask.

On September 23, 2016, Yahoo News published an article stating that U.S. intelligence officials had received reports regarding Carter Page's private meetings in Moscow with senior Russian officials. The article cited a "well-placed Western intelligence source," and contained details about Carter Page's activities in Russia that closely paralleled the information contained in the reporting that Steele had provided to the FBI. We found no evidence that anyone from the FBI asked Steele in September 2016 or at any other time, if he had spoken with the Yahoo News reporter. Steele had, in fact, spoken with the reporter prior to the article's ¡ publication, which the FBI would learn from public records after the submission of the first FISA application.

It is now clear, this guy is swamp creature. Its clear, the FBI needs more oversight from outside the bureau. Sounds like his main method of dealing with misconduct outlined in the IGâs report will be through their internal office of professional responsibility. WHAT...??? Â
The FBI is acting with impunity and meddling in political affairs, while hiding behind over classifications and using leaks of classified information to sway public opinion. And Wray wants to use existing procedures to rectify the situation...??? If he was on the apprentice, âYour Firedâ would be the famous last words... Â

Loretta Lynch decided to defer her decision whether to prosecute Hillary Clinton over he email server, to James Comey because Lynch was conflicted by her tarmac meeting with Bill Clinton. This was not Comeyâs decision to make. If Lynch was conflicted, she should have recused herself, and the decision would go down the line in Justice Department. You know, like how Sessions recused himself.
By the way, Sessions recused himself, because of heavy pressure by partisan crooks like Al Franken, and after seeking council from existing DOJ attorneys, all who were holdovers from the Obama administration. Â
