Having finished IDW (2005) & Masterforce...
Yesterday: I read Unicron #6 and it made me emotional, glossy eyes even.
Then I read Lost Light #25 and... well, no moist eyes or anything crazy, i was honestly just hella confused. and i already knew Ratchet would die at some point in the series (cuz spoilers) but I didn't know he'd just die like THAT and off-screen. eh, okie. Idk what to think of the ending, except it was bittersweet and kinda depressing since — if i understood it right — there's now 2 Lost Light crews and one of them is kinda broken up and depressed (Rodimus esp.) and the other one is happy, adventuring who knows where. So... which one of the crews is the original and which one is the copy? The demons tell me the CopyCrew™ is having more fun than the OG.
Optimus Prime #25 was THE LAST comic of the continuity and idk what to feel except hollowness. Orion Pax looked cute tho. Also, Arcee telling stories and there's "Sideswipe the 2nd" who finally talks. Windblade's speech tho, oof, makes me miss G1 optimus.
CARTOON (G1 Japanese continuity)
oh I finished watching Transformers: Masterforce anime as well (now I've got questions about those transtectors cuz wth???). And I got my first taste of Transformers: Victory and it seems way too funny (not complaining). tho I have to ask myself if I'm just watching them only because I want to consume every Transformers media that exists, like a completionist. But there was usually a reason to keep watching:
Headmasters = Fortress Maximus and the G1 crew.
Masterforce = Overlord (Sixknight became my fav)
Victory = ...idk any good reason why i should keep watching it. but it seems interesting for now so i'm not leaving the boat just yet
+ Just started IDW2. Slow start but seeing a dead Brainstorm was kinda horrific. heh, it's a surprise that Cybertron was a utopia for so long. suspicious imo.
