Eli and I did not have a good day together. This is a photo I took of him in between screaming temper tantrums at the doctor today. By the time we got home, I wanted nothing to do with him, but when bedtime rolled around, I couldn't bear to let him go to sleep without a snuggle. I tried repeatedly to talk with him about our day, and get him to show even a speck of remorse for some of the things he did that weren't okay, but I was unsuccessful. At one point, I just gave up and we laid there in silence for awhile. Then this conversation happened. Eli: Mom. I'm two. Me: You're three. Eli: Oh! I'm THREE? Me: Yes. Eli: Oh! I'm three.
