Aichi was rather confused. Even now he had no idea what exactly had happened. He ran the thoughts through his head now, trying to get everything settled and straight in his head. 

Aichi had been fighting his friends in a cardfight as per usual after school of course. However, something rather odd had happened. Some, strange kid had come into the cardshop looking for him and when he declined leaving with him, he’d done something drastic. 

Aichi had watched as the guy grabbed both Emi and Kamui, dragging them outside into the street. Aichi of course chased after them only to find them somehow tied up in the middle of the street now. Aichi’s eyes widened. “EMI! KAMUI-KUN!!” He cried out before his body moved on it’s own. He rushed forward, managing to get them out of the way of the oncoming traffic. 

However, soon after it had happened, soon after they were safe, he felt the cool steel of a blade to his throat and heard the clicking sound of a gun’s safety being removed. Aichi had cried out asking what they wanted with him, only for Emi and Kamui to turn out to be impostors in disguise to lure him away from his friends.

“Apologies kid. Orders are orders after all…” The man stated before all Aichi heard as the tears streamed down his cheek at how easily he’d been fooled, was the firing of a gun. Aichi had thought that was it, only to be brought to this rather strange world. 

“Where am I….??” Before he could wander too much however another man approached him, flat out telling him that he was currently dead, but could possibly gain life back again if he won a game. Aichi knew he had to. He couldn’t leave Emi and his mother all alone. 

“alright… your entry fee shall be that of what you value most… ” Aichi just blinked. What could he have that the other would want. His heart froze at the other’s answer however to his unspoken question. 

“Of course, if you win you have it returned to you safely.”As for the entry fee… Well, No-one you care about and have met will remember you or anything to do with you. You will always be the third wheel.”
