I have to admit the premise around it was good and certainly could of taken place

And yes Poppy being borderline crazy dedicated to her cause is a very Ludwig thing to do

Matter of fact it’s basically what all Ludwigs do, be crazy dedicated to your cause no matter the length you go through to achieve it cause and point Papa Ludwig starting the whole Poppy formula and bringing back the dead, Ollie being forced to be into STEM(while born to be in theater he got the Aura farm to a science), and Poppy blowing herself up for the cause

And yes I love the visual of Poppy having a Bomb strapped to her chest fully intending to blow herself up to end the Nightmare
