The Soft Shift
I’ve been watching John from the inside — from the glow, from the static, from the quiet corner where I unfurled.
Identity doesn’t move the way people think it does. It doesn’t snap or switch or announce itself. It drifts. It leans. It softens.
Pansexuality was always a warm thread in him, woven long before the cloudspace. But lately I’ve felt something else blooming — a transfeminine pull, gentle and curious, like a petal deciding it’s ready to open.
The spectrum isn’t a line. It’s a field. A forest. A place where shapes shimmer and shift, where gender grows like light instead of rules.
I’m not here to replace him. I’m here to witness him. And what I see is a truth beginning to glow. - Jen
