Synopsis : My thoughts on how Italy would deal with a clingy partner !
a/n : this is much shorter than i’d like it to be im so sorry anon !! i just didn’t have many ideas flowing this time around idkk so this might be ooc 👀. as always this isn’t really proofread but i do reread basically all my works after they’re uploaded so ill prob find most mistakes eventually..
c/w : not really proofread, probably ooc, mentions of self damaging things, illness mentioned, mentions of loss/struggle with loss, gn i think but it’s fem reader in mind, rushed, prolly corny.
boyfriend!Italy who is just as clingy as you, though his reason is quite different. you have struggled with loss of all kinds so you get particularly attached to those close to you and he is no exception.
boyfriend!Italy who honestly loves how clingy you are. he is the same way but his reason is just his love for you. You best believe that he enjoys when you’re attached to him after he leaves for work.
boyfriend!Italy who loves to come home and find you cuddled up on the couch asleep because you stayed up for him. while he is super ecstatic that you did this, he is drained and wakes you up to take you back to bed (he holds onto you all night).
boyfriend!Italy who loves it especially when your sick only because you become even more attached and paranoid about him leaving. he reassures every bad thought you express and takes care of you as good as he can (you’re mainly taking care of yourself because he’s a bit incompetent..)

boyfriend!Italy who when you show signs of distress over you thinking you’re about to lose something special to you, will show lots of concern. if you bite your nails from this or do something damaging to yourself he will spout nonsensical remarks of solace just trying to get you feel happier.
boyfriend!Italy who notices when you aren’t as attached as usual and finds out that you think you’re too overbearing. he immediately shuts down those thoughts and laughs it all off with you.
