#id 114

I haven't processed any requirements, I haven't had my physical examination, enrolment is on the eighth of May, orientation is on the ninth and tenth of May, and classes start on the twenty-first of May. Okay. 

But even if it's still two weeks or so before the orientation, I feel kind of welcomed because I am already a part of our batch's group. It was a hard time for me finding the group page. Nataranta ako in a way last week kasi nagtataka na ako kung may group ba kami o wala kasi sa ibang schools meron na. Tapos may nakita akong parang link ata yun or picture leading to a group for incoming DLSU students for the school year 2014-2015. I clicked it, saw ID 114, and thanked God. Bless the Lord, I am saved. Tapos ayun, welcome froshie, etcetera, etcetera. I was also added to the college of business group page and found some peeps who are in the same college and preferably the same course as mine.

If in the past weeks entering this school made me nervous, this time it made me even more nervous (and scared). I looked through the profiles of some people there (I don't stalk unless necessary), and magkakakilala na ang iba sa kanila given the fact na a lot of them graduated from La Salle in high school and decided to just continue studies in the same university. Eh di syempre, kawawa naman akong taga-probinsya. Kahit pa sa Ateneo ako nag-aral nung high school, iba pa rin to no. From blue to green na ang kuya niyo. That's why from this point pa lang, medyo kinakabahan na ako kung sino ba mga magiging kaibigan ko dito o kaya makikilala.

Another one is the fact that I am in BSA and the experienced ones kept on telling us good luck. I think we really need that though. Medyo mahirap nga daw. It's a fact na marami ang nakakapasok sa course na to sa una, pero kakaunti na lang paglabas. I want to be a part of those who would graduate in the course which I entered in. Sayang sa tuition, kailangan paghirapan. Sana nga lang makaya ko. Kakayanin!

I am not a 114, I am a 113. So... vacation, yay! I have been spending my vacation watching series specifically How I Met Your Mother! It's so funny, I wonder why I didn't watch when it was still airing. Anyway, I'm watching it now! I'm also watching Bates Motel because oh my gosh Freddie Highmore! And come on, who doesn't love a suspense-mystery-thriller series? Right? Right? 

Oh yeah, I joined the DLSU ID 114 group in Facebook to see the froshies. *insert evil laugh* Kidding aside... I actually joined to encourage them to join this yellow political party. *WELCOME TO LAHZUL* Another kidding aside. I actually joined just to see how pathetic we (former froshies hihi) were. Haha! No, really. I joined just to see the froshies who will be blocking our way. Haha. Oh gosh, I miss my block. Wish I pushed my LAmb audition/try-out. UGH. BIG U-G-H. Think I'll try out again for next year's LAmb. Haha. 

So, yeah. Not a frosh anymore. Thank God I survived my frosh year. And a big thank You to God because I closed my frosh chapter with flying colors. Hihi.

I don't know if I'm the right person to make this post and actually tell you incoming froshies what to do or give you tips or whatever. But since I'm (still) a frosh, I think I'm somehow qualified to give you people a number of tips. But yeah, whatever... 

Okay, so tips? Here we go.

It's okay to repeat clothes or outfits. I repeat, it's okay to repeat clothes and/or outfits. 

I don't get why this is the first and foremost concern of some froshies. (including me before lol) I mean, come on... You won't go to school naman every day just to dress up and make La Salle your runway or something. It's perfectly fine to repeat clothes weekly or every other day if that's how you want to roll eh. Just make sure na naligo ka and you won't wear the same set of underwear from yesterday. Your outfits won't and don't really matter, ibabagsak pa rin naman kayo ng mga prof niyo eh. J O K E

MAGSIPAG sa pag-aaral, hindi magsipag-landian.

Remember, mahal ang tuition sa La Salle. Wag niyo sayangin money ng parents niyo.

Sleep, sleep and sleep while you still can.

In college, the story goes like "Sleep? What's that?" So this summer, (which is something we don't have in La Salle, lol) might as well sleep your asses off because you won't be getting enough of those once the term starts. Sleepless nights may come along as early as the first term, depending on how you are as a student.
