I filmed a review of the @jeffreestarcosmetics Blue Blood palette vs. the @tartecosmetics Icy Betch palette but it’s a hot mess you guys do for now I’m going to post these swatches (all single swipe except two marked), my eye look testing them out, and then a full look with the Blue Blood palette and lip in Titanic from the Blue Blooded mini lip bundle. I also used the liquid lip in Jawbreaker as liner in my waterline on both eyes. Side note - using his liquid lips as liner was amazing. That shit LASTS and I will be ordering in black soon. I found the JS palette easier to blend then the tarte one; more notably on the dark colors. They both do blend, you just have to work with the tarte one a little more. The JS palette was more vibrant and you have so many options for looks (blues, aquas, neutrals). The tarte palette was pretty but needed more options and fewer dark blues, but I appreciate the highlighter that came with it which was beautiful. The Blue Blood palette coats more at $52 but I feel that for the number of shadows, quality, and versatility it is the better option. The Icy Betch palette from tarte is cute and I do like that it’s a little easier to travel with and could even fit in your purse for some blue touch ups during the day. I also want to give a shoutout to their beautiful Game of Thrones inspired tutorial on YouTube using their palette. Icy Betch retails for $24. Note* I really wish they would have made their “April Fools” 12 pan palette they teased last year because I think the versatility issue would have had a better outcome. #jeffreestarcosmetics #bluebloodpalette #tartecosmetics #icybetchpalette #beautyenthusiast #crueltyfreebeauty #makeup #agingbeautifully #eyeshadow #blue #vs #thisis40 #vegan #newyoutuber https://www.instagram.com/kamiller29/p/Bv88KFqjo-j/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=wgqjug7r4n8q
