         Enji clears his throat and sits across from her, a file with papers and held closed with a paperclip in his hands. He talked with people -- got their opinions -- and as the new number one hero, this was something he felt like he had to do.

Fuyumi freezes for a moment in her mother’s arms, before she begins to melt into the embrace. Her touch is warm and familiar. It’s home. She wraps her arms around Azura, burying her face into her shoulder.

ic ;; “Um, h-hey Mum.” Fuyumi smiled slightly as she closed the door to Azura’s room behind her, almost shyly eyeing her mother. She shifted a bit nervously, biting her lip and looking away for a moment.

“Um, so, Dad’s going to be out of town for a few days- h-hero work and all, and um, I was wondering if...” she managed to gaze back up at Azura, “maybe you wanted to come and stay with us while he’s gone...? It’ll just be me and Shouto, obviously. I-I thought it would be a nice surprise for him.”
