ah yes.. secretly one of my favorite aus i only think about and dont draw.. heres some doodles for you. betty got him pregnant before she died of radiation poisoning and he finds out not long after.
trying to feed marceline and himself (he can't neglect his own needs as much because he's eating for two, and providing for three) leads to him doing a lot more hunting and foraging work.. he also drops by a clothing store to get him and marcy an expanded wardrobe + look for baby clothes so they have multiple sets of clothing.
i like to think marcy ended up getting her own tiny backpack so she can carry the light stuff (and some of her own things). simon tries to stay away from cities in later months since he can't move around or defend marcy like he used to, and once the baby is born he'll have to account for a crying infant. marceline likes to give him dandelions and other forageable foods she can recognize (not many) because he says he likes them and he eats them. (he does not like them. he just needs all the nutrition he can get.) simon also lets her assist him more!! she is such a good little helper.
