“  O-Oh.  Good.  I  think.  G-Guess  that  makes  me  a  bon-bona-  real  hero  now  ?  Like  battle  scars.  ”  The  pain  had  begun  to  subside  at  this  point,  yet  not  entirely  gone  as  he  rests  against  the  hospital  bed  (  likely  soaking  at  this  point,  however  long  he's  been  asleep  for  ).  Still  reeling  over  the  fact  he  had  come  to  visit  meant...  perhaps  more  than  Robert  realizes.

"  U-Um...  you  probably  have  to  head  back  soon.  To  work.  And  I-I  need  to  uh...  "  A  slight  shift  in  his  gaze  from  the  door  to  around  his  bed,  wondering  if  a  nurse  would  stop  by  anytime  soon.  "  I  should  figure  out...  when  I  can  head  back  and  go  h-home.  The  hou-house  isn't  gonna  take  care  of  itself,  y'know  ?  "  His  grandmother  still  needed  to  be  tended  to  after  all.

"  R-Rob,  Robert,  really  it's  not  th-that  big  a  deal.  "  Sure,  everything  hurt,  &  he's  certainly  has  reason  to  take  the  next  day  off…  making  sure  he  was  patched  well  enough  up  was  more  he  expected.  Despite  feeble  protests,  he  winces  at  the  forming  bruise  at  his  cheekbone  when  the  other  feels  for  any  other  injuries.  "  Not  to  say  it's  appreciated,  of  course.  I  just…  you're  just  awfully  close,  wh-which  isn't-  ah…  I'll…  I'll  be  sure  to  take  some  medi-med-  painkillers  when  I  get  home.  "
