He was born in Luthivíra cca 20 years before the arrival of humans in Alagaësia.

Anurin's secession, and the subsequent exile of Riders from elven lands happened very shortly after he was chosen, meaning he did not really interact with his birth culture until he was over a century old.

He had a younger brother whom his parents had in great part because they "lost" their firstborn to the Riders and had little hope of being a part of his life ever again - elven couples in general very rarely decide to have more than one child unless something happens to the firstborn. This brother died during the sacking of Silverwood during the Dragon War.

He lost all his noble titles and rights of inheritance the moment he became a Rider, which is why he introduces himself only by his first name or as "Oromis of Luthivíra" much more often than "Oromis of House Thrándurin".

He joined the fight during the Year of Darkness pretty much as soon as he finished his apprenticeship at roughly 40 years of age. He was eager, confident and wholly unprepared for the horrors of the height of the Ra'zac War. He emerged from the other side deeply humbled and never entirely the same.

Glaedr's term of affection for him is "Little Brother".

The reason for Islanzadí's grudge against him is that even as a small child, Arya would visit him on Tel'naeír, asking for stories about the dragons, the Riders and the world outside the forest. Even though in doing that, little Arya most likely saved Oromis and Glaedr from losing themselves in their grief in those early years after the Fall, Islanzadí soon started to resent their bond, feeling that Oromis was taking up a place in Arya's life that Evandar never got the chance to fill. Later on, when Arya made the decision to leave Du Weldenvarden, Islanzadí ended up partly blaming Oromis, because he had "filled her head with fanciful stories".

I’d imagine they’d have group classes and training, but some senior riders would take personal apprentices. Mostly ones that showed promise or some who needed the extra help, or even ones they just vibed with.

Murtaugh wouldn’t have many apprentices, but I like to imagine he has at least one that’s a complete little weirdo, absolute goblin, a little goofy ghoul.

Like, this kid would be so quiet and weird, and this pasty little stick of a brat everyone is surprised he can even stand in sunlight. Probably sees the future or something, they don’t know if it’s that or he’s just weirdly observant.

And he’s just super quirky. he walks the halls at night, half the time he’s just sleep walking, or standing in shadowed alcoves to tell another student that their shoelace is untied.

And Murtaugh is completely unfazed by this. That’s his boy, his son, his little baby bean! he isn’t creepy just eccentric! He put up with Eragon, nothing bothers him.

A student could go up to him and be like “sir, Odie is doing rituals on the toads again.” And Murtaugh would just reply with “ah, I told him not to do that! The salt is so hard on the grass.”

On the topic of Physical Affection for the Seven:

Over the millennia there will be certain times that despite their more monstrous nature, the Seven Heroes will actually be affectionate either to another Hero or to someone they hold dear for a time.

Kzinssie - Easiest to pin down. Most people shy away from his kind of affection for obvious reasons. If he does do things like give a hug, expect it to be the clammy, slightly sweaty, and generally awkward and uncomfortable kind. Not uncommon for chills to go down people's spines upon contact anyhow. Annoying Kid Brother.

Rocbouquet - Unless you're Wagnas or Noel, probably not happening. She might tease a bit every so often, but know that's only so she can get her way. If she does, it'll be little winks and nudges, the occasional caress or coddle - but her true affection is only for those two. Noel's baby sister and knows it.

Noel - Still a knight by training and osmosis, he isn't shy about encouragement, and has had more than one kid look to him as a big brother figure or even a father figure. He functioned as both for Rocbouquet since he was young, and he gets the Dad Itch every now and again. Especially so when thinking of what could have been with Orieve when she's brought up. Major Girl Dad/Wine Dad Vibes.

Dantarg - Usually avoided by most people because he just comes off so strong, pun intended. Uses even his affection to show off his strength and dominance, resulting in more than one injury whenever he's tried camaraderie or just a pat on the back. On the rare occasion someone has initiated genuine affection toward him however, his Dad-targ side comes out, and the recipient is absolutely showered in Dantarg's pent-up brand of affection, usually in choice meats from high-profile kills, Spartan roughhousing, and possible suffocation from wrestling or being hugged. Major Boy Dad/Beer Dad Vibes.

Subier - As a human, his antics were rewarded with more than a few slaps to the face, but among friendlier groups he was quite social and open. Perhaps due to his relationships souring and those wounds festering, he now seeks solitude in his monstrous form. Wagnas, being so forgiving, is one of the few people to actually earn his trust, thus his willingness to go to any length for him. Doesn't give out anymore due to past hurts, but will happily receive and reciprocate in most cases. Major Dad Friend/Beer Friend Vibes.

Wagnas - kinda on the lines of @psychobind's hc, while he has a bit of a shell around him because of priestly decorum, if he's into you, h e _ i s _ i n t o _ y o u . It's a very intense sort of affection, somehow platonic but bordering on romance and obsession, as if in love with the act of loving. Major Mom Friend/Wine Friend Vibes.

If you’re someone Ryuko loves and you want a certain pet, then chances are that she will make that a reality. Want a dog? No problem! Cat? Sure! Guinea pig? Not a problem! Hell even exotic pets like wolves, tigers, alligators, or even stoats are not a problem. Hell, she can even have them trained (humanely, of course!) so that they make for the perfect pet for them.

Differences between little Starlette and Arietta

Starlette recognizes she is still much more weak than other demons, so she picks her battles wisely. Arietta touts her powers and believes to be untouchable.

Arietta, oddly, believes her royal blood means something to other denizens and will use it to come off as more powerful. Starlette knows denizens don’t care and doesn’t really mention it.

Arietta presents herself as a princess, Starlette doesn’t care much for things as appearing royal.

So have IC characters with their own first cars. (But no models. Because I can’t name any outside of like 3)

Morzan: an old beater he found on the side of the road that said ‘free’ and didn’t run. He used much duct tape and lots of prayer to get it running. Only got rid of it because he couldn’t put a car seat in it once Murtaugh was born.

Brom: his eldest brother’s old pickup. He was the youngest of like 500, so it’s a miracle it even had tires when he got it.

Eragon: legally isn’t allowed to drive. Honestly if he was a woman, he’d be used as propaganda on why we shouldn’t drive.

Roran: his first car wasn’t a car, it was a tractor. He messed with something and was able to go like 80mph with it. Honestly it’s surprising he’s not in jail.

Katrina: a brand new little car she treated like gold. Drove Eragon around once he was deemed a hazard to society. Makes it all pretty and girly despite safety experts saying not to. Roran drives it more than her so if someone tries anything and fights him, that’s their fault for being sexist.

Arya: actually just got her bike license cause she didn’t see the point in a car, got an electric second hand off Facebook marketplace.

Oromis: cars didn’t exist.

(Ooooh, that’s a good one! Hmm, I can think of a few:

Alice is definitely one who would make a deal not long after arriving in Hell. Why? She realizes not long after arriving that her dad, the one who made her suffer in silence for YEARS and forced her to live in fear every second of her short life, was in Hell WITH HER. She would do anything to ensure he gets what he deserves, or at least what she deems to be justice.

Lilith (Or Lily)

She purposefully is studying witchcraft for the sole purpose of ending her loneliness. All she wants is a companion, even if it’s a demon. So really, it could be any random demon that she meets and makes a deal with. As for her REVERSE version: Probably Alastor or Lucifer, to find her way home since she fucked up her spell in the first place, landing her IN HELL.

Lastly

Miala. Weird she’s here, right? She seems like a cut and dry gal; Alastor left her as a kid, she grew up with her mom, and refuses to form any bond with her dad. She avoids the Happy Hotel for the sole purpose of his mere presence and lack of belief in redemption, so who would she make a deal with and why?

Well, most likely Lucifer himself, as she sure as hell wouldn’t ask Alastor to. 

And what would she wish for?
