Send 📼 to see an early childhood memory of my muse’s
A year or so had rolled by since she had been put into a new school after the previous incident. But, it wasn't like things actually were looking up for her. In fact, one would argue that this school was even worse than the last one with rampant bullying and even small gangs starting to form. And much like the upper classman she beat up back then, most of them could get away with it because of how rich and powerful they were. Ryuko didn't care. In fact, it only made her wanna knock 'em down a peg even more. And one such thing would result with her being put into the principal's office... again.
"Miss Matoi, just how many times has it been since you were brought in here?" The older gentleman asked. Ryuko remained quiet as she crossed her little arms, not wanting to answer.
"Ryuko?" His voice grew more stern.
"7... it's been 7 times." Ryuko finally answered while she wore a scowl on her face.
"Exactly. And you keep putting yourself in more and more trouble by keeping up with all these fights. So, why do you keep doing this if you know it gets you in trouble?"
"Because someone has to!" Ryuko snapped back, taking the principal off guard for a brief second before the little girl took a deep breath. "Every time I did it it was because some jerk was pickin' on someone smaller than 'em. What am I supposed to do!? Just let it happen!?"
"Well... that 'jerk' you mentioned happens to have a father that provides funding for this school. And if his father hears about it, then this whole school will be in trouble and not just you or your father." The principal's expression was stern, fingers tapping against his desk as it was clear that another lawsuit could be inevitable because of Ryuko's actions.
"So you're okay with him pickin' on other kids because of that!?" Ryuko snapped back. "You're okay with him beating up my friends because his dad gives you money!?"
"NO!" Ryuko roared back as she pushed herself off the chair she was in, causing it to fall backward onto the floor. "YOU'RE JUST AS BAD AS THEY ARE!" Ryuko's face was bright red and her teeth were clenched, almost ready to throw down with the very principal in front of her.
"MATOI! OUT! NOW!" The older man snapped back, hands slamming onto the desk as he stood himself up. "And you can expect a call for your father because you won't be stepping foot in this school again!"
"FINE! GOOD LUCK TRYING TO GET A HOLD OF HIM!" With that, Ryuko would snatch her backpack up and slam the door on her way out. "Not like he'll even talk to me about it anyway..." Ryuko murmured under her breath after she left, sniffling and rubbing her eyes with her forearm to wipe away any tears that would be forming.
