Did you notice that company that was supposed to do the table read production of her musical in spring 2022 listed their spring new content stuff festival and EA is no where to be found? As a fan of almost 20 years now disappointed but not surprised. As a fellow bipolar you have to get your crap together at some point. This musical is only happening in her mind.
Yes, but I've been hesitant to comment on it as Emilie is clearly going through a lot of medical struggles and is still following their instagram account. Their announcement post is still up about the musical is still up, too.
The world of theatre is very fluid—if she has health issues that have been impacting her ability to finish a draft for IAMT to work with, her project likely got pushed forward.
That's why I haven't said anything.
EDIT: Apparently the musical is being delayed "due to COVID."
So we already know about the radio silence of the musical being workshopped by IAMT… I went on their Instagram page and any mention of The Asylum has gone. Looks like the plan completely fell through. I do feel sorry for EA though. It must be awful to think the musical’s finally going places, only to end up at square one again.
