Wayward Victorian Confessions

Hello, fellow inmates! EA is showing signs of life again, so here are a few reminders:

NAC: Do you guys know why EA insists that Enchant was released in 1999? I always thought it was released in 2003. Unless EA was selling CDs of Enchant at shows way before she released it through Traitor Records? I thought the 1999 date was associated with the original release of On a Day... For the life of me, I just don't understand why EA's version of her own timeline is so confused and out of sync with what we know? Considering that there are photos and videos of EA dressed up in faerie wings, playing Enchant songs well before 2003, I am going to have to assume EA was selling CDs she burnt herself of the album that probably no longer exist or didn't sell very much? She did talk briefly about trying to get signed to major labels that proved to be an unsuccessful venture in her teen years. Maybe she was sitting on Enchant for years as a demo record that she resolved to release independantly both in 1999 and 2003 when the record deals never eventuated. Perhaps there may be even slightly different tracklists? EA was always funny and seemingly ashamed of Enchant's production. Probably because it sat in demo limbo for so long that it wasn't really an option anymore to give it a proper production so she just released it again in 2003 and started working on Opheliac which was mentioned as early as 2004 and had a different proposed album cover and tracklist? I am inclined to believe this because in her recent blog, she said Enchant was pretty much released in its demo status. I am always preplexed by EA's timeline between 1999 and 2007. It's really murky and suggests multiple hospital stays, various album timelines etc. I just wish she released a proper autobiography but that would probably confuse us even more lol.

NAC Why do you admins always brand anyone who is wrong or confrontational as a troll? Some of the information on Em is not easy to find now a days, and people can makes mistakes. The prices are still insane.

The prices being asked for the pieces being sold on eBay are INSANE. Even for the rat tail, 6,948 dollars is way too much. Plus there's a ton of sealed tea tins there. Who would've bought so many tins and never used them? Also, wasn't the rat costume lost? How did it end up in Australia of all places? It's very sus. Which makes me think it's herself who is selling them through a proxy, and the Inner Circle thing isn't working as good as she hoped for. What's that about repeating patterns...?

NAC/more of an "asking for opinions"

So I'm guessing the lack of Inner Group news that can be shared publicly is the reason there's no new confessions or has the fandom really become quite small now now.

NAC I read over the confessions every so often. The memories it brings back. Perhaps I should write a book?
