Days of Thunder by The Midnight
It’s rare to find an artist that can incorporate modern vocals with a synthwave sound without taking away from the 80s feel it’s suppose to give. The Midnight does it flawlessly in the track “Days of Thunder” by incorporating a sexy sax solo, adding a noir feel that makes me imagine a music video full of shadows, running and eye closeups.
Their soundcloud page has a preview of their EP. I’m hoping to hear more of this artist.
