While it's the weekend, I need to work hard. I have a strict muse. A sketch for my second blog "Shadow Theater" in which I publish my vector graphics.  Iabet She is a cleanser of the Sun god Ra, and goddess of the east. Her main husband is the fertility god Min. She was worshiped in Panopolis, with her husband.

The goddesses of West and East (Amentet and Iabet) lift the sun in a scene from the Amudat. The sarcophagus dates to the Late Period.

there are inauspicious beginnings. there are quiet, soft movements before the dawn. she is the one in the east, as her sisters stand at the other corners of the earth. she washes Ra clean, and whispers sweet things before he goes to sail across the sky. there are no temples to her honor, she is not one of the Great Ladies-- but there is a kind of honor, in being a goddess of simple things.
