remember when I dropped i01 and said that it was āthe first in what probably will end up being a new series of EPs or mixtapes of random tracks that i've been working on?ā
well, hereās part 02.
this is been in development since november of 2016 and has gone through so many different revisions, tracklists, and designs that i almost quit making music altogether. the original plan was to put out a collection of low effort material, but over time that idea morphed into something with substance. i02 started with some of the songs from 34U, but that wasnāt enough: i needed to make a new mixtape. eighteen months of my life rolled through, and finally, i have something for you all to listen to. just like the original Interim release, thereās eight unreleased tracks in this set that feature my production, now alongside seventeen of my favorite tracks iāve heard in the past year or so.
yeah, youāre right, sounds like a bad deal. youāre listening to a mix thatās just 32% original content. what was I thinking?
maybe Iāll put out a companion EP featuring all the other songs i made for this project that ultimately werenāt included...
