Dear Gus & Magnus,

We filmed in the warm office this morning, but spent all afternoon freezing in the elements as we went to a few different job sites to get footage. As cold as it was, I enjoy getting out into the field like this.

Meanwhile, back home, Magnus's school called Mom because they noticed some unusual mottling and purple skin around his mouth. Mom went and got him. We noticed mottling a couple of nights ago, too. But then saw that Gus and I both had it as well, so we chalked it up to being cold. His limbs were cold to the touch when Mom got him home, so we decided he was just cold again. She warmed him up and everything was fine. I think you boys just have my light complexion and sensitive skin. Just the same, Mom's going to talk to Dr. Strong about what it might be when she runs into him next because we want to rule out any sort of circulatory issues. Mags was born with a tiny hole in his heart that scared us, but it closed up when he was still an infant. The thought of that still lingers in our minds.

You can read up on the initiative & its goals here or in more depth on their website- basically it would establish a city-run housing developer focused on creating a mix of median-income, low-income, and free housing, where rent paid by the market-rate residents would pay off the costs of building & maintaining the building, and ultimately be used to create/buy even more housing. It’s a model that’s been successful in Austria, France & Singapore 👍
