Almost caught up with the wha manga(ch 93) and haha haha no one cared to warn me about it. No one.
Actually no it's my fault. I heard people saying it was a really great story and that it changed their lives. But what so great about the story of a kid wanting to become a witch, or so I thought.
I started the anime and I saw Qifrey and all I knew was he reminded me of Gojo; white haired, blue eyes, and the same silly Gojo (well now I know it was serialised way before jjk) and then came other black haired guy and oh how I knew it. How I signed up for it and now was in for a treat.
Mind you the scene starts with them fighting and Qifrey calling Olly his old friend (yeah always the old friend, good friend, one and only best/friend)
Gets caught up with the anime, came here to see the artworks and oh my gorgeous gorgeous and just some other stuffs and it smelled like doomed yaoi(subtle spoilers I got) and when I tell you I was scared for my life
Then catches up with the manga 2 days later and now is the present when I'm yapping about it here at 2 am.
What will I do with my life now
Also this might be just the best story for a manga anyone has ever written. The story, the plot, the themes and the execution and i could just go on. AND THE ARTWORK MFG.
Also I have watched a lot of animes but olrufrey might just be the most impactful queer platonic ships ever written cuz wdym wdym(ch 93)!!!! I mean I know alright I have my favs too but I just have to admit that no one did or will ever do it like them. I will have to admit this even when I am in my full biased mood. Oh olrufrey! Oh olrufrey! Oh Olly and oh Qifrey. They deserve better. They deserve all the happiness in the world. Just let them live together in their atelier with their kids and have a home cooked meal and yeah.. just please. My babies better have a happy ending!!!!
