Hey everyone ! I went back to the beach yesterday.. first time since I went blind .. took me a while, but with Shanti’s help I fell in love with the salt in my hair and sand between my toes again!

Good morning every one !!
My favourite part of the day is in the morning. I can still climb onto mum’s knee when she sits on her favourite chair with her coffee.. She says I’m a pest cos I bump her coffee… but we all know she really loves it! I still watch what is going on out the front people walking past and cars zooming through.. Mum giggles because my head still follows the cars as they go through even tho I have no eyes!
So this is where we are now!
My mum is going to write this blog, cos I never learnt to touch type before going blind, so it is a bit hard for me..
We do love my Dad and Shanti my doggie sister, but being a diva and princess this blog is all about me, so they may get a mention, but just remember…. It’s all about moi
The ophthalmologist has advised that I am now totally blind. The pressure behind my eyes are getting worse and the ophthalmologist is worried because they are not showing any signs of getting any better, and to make it worse, they think I might have walked into a twig or something, because my left eye has a bad ulcer also.
Mum bought me a little hat to help keep the sun away from my sore eyes. I am going to have to have an operation to have my eyes removed. I am in pain because of them and it is the best thing to do.

But then, by Christmas, I was again a regular at the Animal Hospital as I was having massive problems with my eyes. Glaucoma ..
