Patrick doesn’t notice at first. You had the disorder before the two of you started dating, so you skipping lunch with him, is honestly so normal. When Belch drives by on a Saturday and asks if you wanna go get breakfast, and you say yeah, but only get a fruit cup and a coffee, Patrick doesn’t notice. When you go to his house for dinner and divide your food up to make it look as though you’ve eaten, Patrick doesn’t notice. Vic notices first. He tells Patrick to talk to you. Patrick doesn’t believe him. Until you suddenly slam your hand against the locker when the five of you are ditching, black spots bouncing into your eyes, and your head feeling as though it’s on fire. Patrick notices. Vic forces you to eat a stolen granola bar and a fruit snack packed and a whole bottle of water. Patrick helps, holding your hand, and playing with your hair. He doesn’t know what to do. But you’re quite and calm and accept the food and water without fight. Patrick helps as much as he can. With this, he can help. He’s familiar with it bc of Vic, and uses altered steps to help you out. He doesn’t control your eating or hover, but if he notices you haven’t eaten, he slips you a small-something. He reminds you that he loves your body, never mentioning a specific shape or size. And he always makes sure you’re hydrated, and has fruit snacks shoved in his pocket at all times. Patrick tries, for once, because you’re beautiful and he doesn’t like watching you waste away with a smile.
