1. what’s your favourite genre to write?

I don’t have one!! I love action, historic, sci-fi, mystery, romance, you name it, I probably love writing it. I just love diving into various worlds and genres, it’s SO much fun. AND GENRE BLENDING!! that’s the BEST.

2. do you pull inspiration from real-life, or do you pull things from other books/fanfic?

Most of the time I’m pulling inspiration from real-life, or from music. Occassionally poetry. 

3. do you tend to write one-shots, short stories, or longer things?

All of the above, although my stuff tends to skew on the longer side. It’s officially become a running joke in my groupchats both on tumblr and at uni that I am incapable of writing short things. 

4. do you prefer description or dialogue?

Dialogue in prose, description in poetry. I’m doing a joint degree in Screenwriting and Creative Writing, so both of them appeal to me in different ways. 

5. favourite fanfic/book of all time?

Favourite fanfic? probably still @grumpybell‘s Don’t Wake Me I’m Not Dreaming it’s still one of the best things I’ve ever read in my life. Favourite book is probably Pride and Prejudice or The Book Thief, depending on if I want to cry or not. 

6. favorite trope?

TROPES FOR DAYS BABEYYY. I’m a big fan of the Canon Fix-it, obviously. I also love writing any kind of AU, especially ones where I can put characters into TOTALLY different universes. Also, considering the novel I’m currently writing is based entirely around a sort of Arranged Marriage plotline, I’ve gotta give it up for that one too. 

7. are you the kind of person to work on more than one wip?

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA yes. 

8. how long have you been writing for?

Since birth, basically. Apparently, before I could write, I used to narrate stories to the kindergarten teachers so they could write them down for me. I’ve been posting my writing since I was about... fourteen? fifteen? something like that. 

9. do you tend to write more during the morning, afternoon, or evening?

Evening, almost constantly. Occassionally morning when it used to be evening and I’m still writing sdfkjghdflgkd

10. do you prefer to post your wip chapter by chapter, or do you prefer to wait until your wip is 100% finished before posting?

I’ve done some mix of both. I’ve worked out the best way for me is to wait until I’m about two thirds done before I start posting, otherwise I catch up to myself too fast and then leave people waiting.
