Can't stop thinking about my Single Dad Woober au, so I figured I'd just give y'all the character profiles
Boober:
-25
-Newly divorced Single Dad.
-Works at a laundromat during the day, and at a nightclub as a drag performer at night (I am incapable of not including drag queen Boober in everything I write. You cannot stop me)
-Despite this, he's struggling to make ends meet, especially because of his and Momo's health problems, and the rise of rent costs.
-Insecure and worried that he won't be able to provide enough for Momo, because his ex husband is quite well off, and Boober feels like a failure of a parent in comparison. His ex has no custody, but Boober is always worried something could change.
-Has dreams of starting his own show so that Momo could have something fun and educational to watch, but those dreams were squished years ago
-Does not have a crush on Momo's kindergarten teacher
Wembley:
-25
-Momo's kindergarten teacher
-Feels a lot of guilt watching Boober and Momo struggle, so he's determined to help them in any way he can.
-Really likes kids, but has been single his whole life and never had a child of his own.
-Lives with Gobo and (Nephew) Matt
-Just completely head over heels for Boober from the moment he first saw him, but he feels so guilty about it.
-Puts on puppet shows for the class using this little green creature he made ...hmmmm...I wonder who that creature is...
Momo:
-5
-On a lot of medications for various things. Hates taking them.
-Very clingy. Loves her papa a lot.
-HATES going to school at first, but slowly warms up to it as she gets more attached to Wembley
-Desperately trying to get Wembley and her papa together, because she likes Wembley that much.
-Terrified of her father. She has nightmares about him and clings to Boober, begging him to never let him near her ever again.
-Brings her stuffed Toe Tickler everywhere. It's her comfort item. If you touch it she'll punch you.
