my evening was
played Hades for four hours took over 100 new screenshots to redigest new dialogue later but gotta sleep now
oh goddang it. I have been trying for three hours and I still can't pick a favorite, but if I had to throw a dart: the two-parter that is "The Wine Cellar" and "Weakness" are always, ever, endlessly delightful. I know they're the ones that started it all, but beginnings can be so marvelous, can't they? :)

Beginnings can be marvelous indeed. Since they were a beginning they feel very...young, almost. I have been tempted to go back and edit and/or expand on both of them so many times but have resisted. I have grown into my style more now, and I also know the both of them a lot better---but there’s a part of me that needs those “young” moments to remain untouched. That clumsy giddiness over starting something new—and really having no idea what the hell you’re doing, still, despite whatever experience you may have had—feels real, both for me and for them.
I am, however, actively working on filling in the blanks :)
