Social Level: Ranging from “charming” to “over the top” depending on how much he has had to drink.  Even with the harsh nature of his line of work, when it is time to socialize, he puts his best foot forward in an attempt to make sure no one is a stranger.   Optimistic/Pessimistic: A healthy dose of both depending on the subject.  While optimism reigns supreme when it comes to dealing with any task, there is a tendency in quieter moments for self doubt to seep in.  Despite his bravado, he is not immune to questioning his choices late at night.   Positive Personality Traits: Confident - Authentic - Courageous - Reliable Negative Personality Traits: Wrathful/Reckless - Rowdy - (Some might say) Cocky Likes: If you asked Atace, the three most important things in life are good company, good drink, and good smoke.  Beyond that, he is a fan of the beach and taking dips in the sea.  Triple triad has also become something of a pass time.   Favorite Foods: Red meat, potatoes, cheese.  Though it is pretty much a simple standard, it matches the uncomplicated man perfectly.   Favorite Drinks: Without a doubt it’s whisky.  He does not look down upon a good ale or wine however.  Even sake has begun to make it’s way to him now and again.   Dislikes: Untrustworthy folks or cowards.  Both of which will get you killed on the battlefield.  Any sort of unnecessary violence.  This goes doubled towards the young.

You like to drink/smoke?  Play cards?  All while having good conversation?  Him too!  He’s more than willing to probably lose some gil during some random evening. It’s probably the fastest way to get into a personal connection with him.  

Have goods that need to be protected?  Need an armed escort?  Atace fits there as well.  He tends to favor the more legal side of work, sticking to body guard work or contacted fighting.  He doesn’t do piracy or anything that involves harming those who don’t deserve it.  Growing older has given him a moral compass.

More recently, he has discovered his love of passing his talents onto those willing to learn.
