in all honesty, junkyu hadn't really dabbled in many korean games in his past, it wasn't like he had many people to play them with and even then, he had no clue how to. his parents never really taught him and he felt a little bit awkward back in his younger days to ask people how to play a game that most koreans would naturally know or be taught growing up. but him? not so much.

so in all honesty, this opportunity of learning traditional games worked out in his favor, he knew it would be good to know and it would help fill part of that little void in his younger self. all of those moments he missed out on in his younger days, he finally gets to experience now, even if it was in a different way than he initially thought.

prom was definitely not something that junkyu thought he would actually be a bit excited for, yet here he was, dressed all smart in a suit a bit more expensive than he typically would have spent - but at least it meant he could wear it in the future if there were times he needed to. truth be told, he really thought he'd be going to prom by himself, repping the singles and drinking the unfortunate alcohol free drinks, even if he would have loved to smuggle a bottle of soju in or something.

he didn't care much if he went single or with somebody, but hearing just how many people had plans to go with someone left him in a bit of a rut, and he doesn't think he could handle all the teasing if he showed up by himself, and that's where hyuntae came in. they knew each other and were pretty good friends, close enough that when the topic of prom came up and the conversation shifted to if they had dates, perhaps junkyu mentioned going together so it was less stress to know they'd be going single.

so walking in with hyuntae felt like a weight lifted off his shoulders, mingling around with everyone and saying hi, catching up with people they hadn't been able to see due to classes. yet somehow through the night, he loses sight of hyuntae and there's a small frown tugging at the corners of his lips, deciding to move to the edge of the room to pull out his phone and shoot him a quick text.

8: Talk about the thing you are most proud of. 

everything that the group earned it? i honestly cannot choose. my first very pround moment in may-b was just songil hyung let me help him with the choreos from of the b-sides of the first mini album, and then i felt proud when we debuted and people seem to liked us, then it came our fist win on music show. and by the time of now or never comeback i felt proud when he hit our first one place in the charts and my solo moment in the choreo of that too. i hope i made michael proud. and then i felt proud when we got all those awards. and traveling the world. 

 33: Talk about what you do when you are sad. 

i just cry. i cry a lot actually its bit an embarrassing cause sometimes i got sad for just small things, like, when we were doing this show in Indonesia and i got the step of the choreo wrong and that got into my head so much that i break down in our ment because i was just feeling like a failed with our beloved sunrises, you know? they found the money to go to the show and watch us and i was just really disappointed in myself cause i didn’t give them my best.

 11: Talk about the best dream you've ever had. 

i don’t remember the dreams i have? sorry? can i say that my best dream is dancing with those amazing guys and meet you in personal right now? 

 40: Talk about the end of something in your life.

trainee days? i’m really sorry for talking so much about work, but that just my entire life. i was the second member to enter after lu hyung, and even if it was tiring and it took a while to get here now, spend those times with them was awesome even if half of us were poor and jinhyung hyung kindly pay for my meals. we just a bunch of boys and it was so loud and so fun to be in those dance practice, we still do that but you know just having to work in our songs its pretty awesome.

What are you gonna do Saturday night?

if we don’t do some schedule i might just be in my room playing some sim city on my notebook. i’m taking a break from the sims cause one of those days i adopted a random kid just because he had a cute jacket and it was the terrible decision i have made. i even made him being stuck in widow part of the house just so he could die, but that idiot don’t do anything. so i gave up and decided to try other games. i’m planning in my that game where you are the owner of a rollercoaster.

Would you ever want to swim with sharks?

just if i had responsible swimmers that deal with sharks with me. some member would be cool too. i think jinhyung or mingyu hyung would be the only one that would accept that. 

Do you sing in the shower?

i did when i lived in my family and the other dorm before may-b was formed but when we moved i tough that because there’s a lot of guys i shouldn’t take long in my showers. and i also feel kind of shy knowing that the could hear me.

Ever have a Deja-vu feeling?

yes but i can name one time that i had. i know that i mostly had because something that i dreamed off. i just can’t remember my dreams so i can’t tell you nothing. sorry.

Favorite Taylor Swift song?

i think it’s is we are never backing together. its just a funny song and lifting up your mood, don’t you think? i really enjoy the red album even though i don’t remember quite necessarily the songs but the song red itself is really good. i also like the 1989 album, i think from him my favorite is welcome to new york and i you had to do was stay. i like ready for it too.

intensive workshops, with @hyuntaelgc

shock. pure shock and surprise, is what junkyu felt as he walked into that room and sat down. those words that left jang insung's mouth were ones he wasn't expecting to hear. having debuted once already, then regressing back to the trainee status and almost feeling like he was starting right from the beginning once again, it felt like a dream.

it's still not hit him, even as junkyu finds himself sat on the training room floor, sprawled out with papers, books and a little ipad by his side with a bunch of english writing loaded up. his progress with english has been pretty good lately, to him at least, and he was learning more and more as he tried.

hosting workshops, with @hyuntaelgc

for someone who's been used to being in front of cameras often, the whole concept of creating his own vlog felt way more fresh than he originally anticipated. but he's glad they have the workshops to help them. while junkyu himself quite enjoyed watching vlogs, he didn't quite realise how each person had their own vlogging style until he was put in this situation where he had to find his own style, and even along with that came a whole bunch of other things: camera angles, what to include, how to make it intriguing and fun to watch, how loud he had to speak for the microphone to pick it up, hell, even holding the camera so he wasn't covering the microphone or unintentionally having a wonky angle.

but for junkyu, the hardest part for him was public speaking and vlogging in general. while he was more of an introvert, he could have his extroverted moments when he wanted, but when it came to things like vlogging, putting those two things together came a little harder.

a surprising past confession, with @hyuntaelgc

finally, a time to hang out and let loose just a little bit, and hangyul was rather pleased. the two of them find themselves strolling along the street, both of them in attempt to figure out the perfect locating to have their little makeshift picnic.

it was all prepared by hyuntae, which left hangyul to remember to bring the things like drinks and blankets to sit on so their clothes didn't get dirty. and hangyul recalls the perfect place to have a picnic - han river, and thus the two of them made their way there.
