Generational requirements:

Gen 1: 

Your founder is ready to work really hard to set their lineage up for success!

Aspiration: Soulmates & Happy Family

Teen Aspiration: Goal Oriented

Get married right after aging up to Young Adult

Complete aspiration and get to level 10 of chosen career

Build house to be worth at least 10k

Get max level in 5 skills

Retire and live with the heir for the rest of their lifespan

Gen 2:

Your founder being close to settling into the retirement life, they frequently tell stories about their life to the new heir. This inspires them to want to share that wonderful story with the world. 

Aspiration: Bestselling Author

Select “make friends” on the first day of elementary school, the first friend made must be your sweetheart

Max writing skill and career

Write at least 20 books

Read all non-skill books in the game (not including university textbooks)

Gen 3:

The heir learns all about their family’s history from Gen 2’s books, and has a passion for ghost stories. They want to build a house their ancestors can thrive in as ghosts, reuniting the founder with their parents.

Aspiration: Renaissance Sim

Get to highest friendship with founder and their parents as ghosts

Be able to afford a second 2 bedroom house, and $10k for the founder and their parents to live as a ghost filled household, move Gen 2 in as a caretaker

Get to level 10 of two careers

Max out Medium skill (if paranormal is owned)

Gen 4:

Your sweetheart’s family plans to move far away! Your parents agree to let them live with the family, as long as there’s no funny business until you both graduate.

Aspiration: Friend of the World

Teen Aspiration: Live Fast

Meet sweetheart during childhood (you can choose this time)

Move the sweetheart in when they become a teen

Become Best Friends and maintain the relationship until graduation, but no romantic interactions until you’re Young Adults!

Be in the same clubs and part time jobs as kids/teens, your parents want an easy carpool

Go to prom as friends and win Prom Royalty and Prom Jester with your sweetheart

Join the same full time career after graduation and both get to level 10

Gen 5:

Opposites attract! Gen 5 believes this completely. Their parents were way too similar for their liking, they aren’t even sure if they want to be married! This is a great and terrible shock to their family.

Aspiration: Chief of Mischief & Party Animal

Teen Aspiration: Drama Llama

Swap Romantic trait for Non-Committal

Have a negative relationship with your parents

Get detention 5 times

Get caught sneaking out

Max the Criminal career

Your sweetheart has to have opposite traits from your heir

Max out the mischief skill, this heir wants excitement!

Throw 10 gold medal parties

Gen 6:

This heir had a pretty chaotic childhood. Like their parent, they aren’t too sure about marriage! They just want to have a fun and relaxing time and build a community.

Aspiration: Neighborhood Confidant

Swap Romantic trait for Outgoing

This generation, your sweetheart is your best friend! Complete all normal goals, but move in with your platonic soulmate after graduation and co-parent together! (to have children you can be platonic woohoo partners or adopt together, no romance bar though!)

Max painting, gardening, and charisma skills

Have max relationship with everyone in your neighborhood

Gen 7:

This Gen wants to reconnect with their roots! It’s been a long time since Gen 1 though, so they might have misguided intentions.

Aspiration: Serial Romantic

Instead of five dates, go on ten with different people! You still need to have your sweetheart by the time you graduate though

The founder wanted their family to do cool things right? Complete the grilled cheese aspiration!

Be best friends with the founder’s ghost

Max Charisma skill

Outlive your sweetheart

Bonus: get the Black Widow achievement after your sweetheart has passed

Gen 8:

Free Space! Your family has lived such an interesting life so far! Create your own challenge, pick your fav Generation from another legacy to try out, or just kick back and live the easy life.

Gen 9:

This heir wants to explore! They have a thrill for adventure and new discoveries.

Aspiration: The Curator

Teen Aspiration: Admired Icon

Go on 5 vacations

You can choose to meet your sweetheart with the normal rules, or instead meet them: on vacation, at university, or in any hidden world you can discover!

Max Rocket Science skill and go to space!

Have at least one friend from every world in game

Complete 5 collections, one has to be the postcard collection

Gen 10:

You’ve lived so many lives! Lastly, this heir wants to Create as many as possible!

Aspiration: Big Happy Family

Have at least 10 children

Be a stay at home parent! Make sure all of your children get good grades, have at least one positive character value (if parenthood is owned), set them up in careers, and have max relationship with all of them

Max 10 skills

Have 10 friends at max relationship (not including your children)

Notes:

I wanted this to be challenging but I hope it isn’t too hard! Feel free to adjust it as much as you need and use mods/cheats!

I tried to make this very adaptable to the base game, but able to utilize stuff from the new pack and base game update. You could even combine it with pack specific legacy challenges based on which ones you own to make it even more dynamic!

Something I’ll also be doing is having my founder max the robotics skill and make a servo that can be with the family throughout every generation. I saw someone on reddit do that and fell in love with the idea!!
