-Instead of the Dark Worlds being representations of areas in the real world, they're representative of various websites.

-Kris and Susie accidentally glitch into the Dark World via an online MMO, alongside Ralsei, who they met via the game.

-The Roaring Knight or FRIEND is basically Khan Digifer from Hyper Agent Gridman.

-Dark Fountains are representative of viruses/DDOS attacks.

-Rouxls is Robots.txt. Not important, but it would be funny that that's how he is everywhere.

-Lancer is Lancer. No one knows why Lancer is in every dark world, Susie doesn't care. Lancer is the exact same as his deltarune counterpart.

-Noelle and Berdley are part of Kris, Susie, and Ralsei's guild in the MMO.

-While Kris, Noelle, Susie, and Berdley all go to school together, no one knows, or really cared to ask, where Ralsei is from.

-Chapter 1 is on a ROM site that Ralsei strangely knows a bit about. the castle is instead a high-rise apartment/server, and the subjects are based on various consoles and genres of game.

-Chapter 2 is in the MMO itself. It's a medieval-techno-fusion, with a museum dedicated to inter-dev drama and comments in the code. The Queen is the load-bearing Goku image file for the game. It also has two warring factions, ala WOW, that can't speak to each other.

-Chapter 3 is a TV channel's webpage. Tenna is the poor algorithm tasked with recommending things to users, under the thumb of corporate execs trying to make streaming more profitable. Because of this, he goes crazy by the end, trashing the studio.

-Chapter 4 is an old, run-down blog for a long-gone church. Jackenstein is the last post made: For a halloween event, and Gerson was the old pastor, being the only one to actually try keeping the website running and looking nice, until he died, and the church abruptly shut down.
