Finally done with this ;) Lemme yap a bit about these two. Of course I know Chester is a manipulative person who treats others as dolls and Kierkess, someone who was mostly likely the first Malettan officer to swear fealty to him, isn't exempt to that at all — and I think that makes a good dynamic especially after Kierkess (❗️spoiler for Chronicle 12) survives the battle against Grandall and finds himself beaten and alone (RIP his troops) and abandoned (Chester didn't show up at Dalkia much to Roin and Aurelia's anger). Do I think it's possible for someone like Chester to develop even a teeny tiny sliver of appreciation/attachment to Kierkess? Who knows. (Yes!)

TLDR: I just think they're neat and they have been living rent free in my head for nearly two decades now and I wish there was more lore to CotS.
