Was struggling to actually get up and go shower as I fo so I decided to do the weird thing and pretended that my little G3 MLP Mermaid Pinkie Pie figurine was cheerfully encouraging me to go shower, gently teasing me calling me a stinky boy. I also imagined her instructing me through the process of rubbing off all the dead skin that accumulated through the week, cleaning my body with soap, putting the shampoo in my hair etc. All while she cheers me on.
Now I’m clean and she’s very proud of me <3
autism hack: if you cant make yourself brush your teeth, soemtimes just buckling and buying a kids toothbrush can help. not only are the heads of the brush smaller and the stick thing shorter (this helps make sure you dont accidently gag yourself and only touch where you want in your mouth)- but you can get cool licensed characters if you want, which is helpful for me. i brush my teeth so i get the joy of looking at my bluey toothbrush and toothpaste.
