Natalia had made herself comfortable in one of the overstuffed chairs in Rogers' apartment as she looked at him. The silence was thick between them, but not in an awkward way. He had asked her for something and she had agreed, and that was the end of that. In a way.
"I just want to make sure you understand what this means. Not just for you or me, but for us. You realize what it means for me to wear this, right?" She knew, of course she knew. And there had never been any question about where they stood with each other. They never had a label, and it worked for them. But what rested in that box would, effectively, change their dynamic.
"You also have to be the one to put it on me." she hoped he knew this, and he most likely did as Rogers never did anything half - assed. He had put a lot of thought into this and even brought the whole trust thing into it as well. Shifting in the chair, she crossed her legs and fell silence once more.
