What I found interesting about chainsaw man is that we only ever see human-devil hybrids in the form of humans with weapon devils and not any other kind
Considering the fact that hybrid devils are, presumably, immortal because they are permanently connected to a humans I wonder why no other kind of devils decides to fuse with a human (other than loss of self in a way unless they can also do the pochitas takeover of denji at some point too. Also fiends don’t count)
Even the wiki says that the concept of their existence was eaten by pochita but continue to exist anyways ?
Is there a reason why only weapons fuse with humans that fujimoto wants to highlight ?
That humans are so intertwined with violence that the concept of a weapon can never be erased from their society ? I mean they brought back nuclear weapons which, as the name suggests, is a weapon and not only did denji/pochita not barfed/vommited out but was reinvented by humans after its initial erasure
Also do asa and yoru count as a hybrid devil ? Or are they some secret 4th thing
