If you were to offhandedly think about it, Nico Di Angelo didn't have a 'type'. Which would be all fair and well if you knew about all of the crushes he's had. And that didn't mean he had a ton, but he did have more than two. That had to be obvious, not that people thought it.

One crush he was particularly embarrassed with was his crush on his boyfriend's father, Apollo. But he was young, impressionable, and the guy was hot. Like really attractive. But it was a simple crush, one he forgot about in the five years since he'd developed it.

It was brought back when he met the god again, at the foot of the Big House stairs. He wasn't what he was expecting. True he was mortal, but couldn't he have looked a little better? Acne ridden, lanky, and thin he wasn't exactly the epitome of what he once was.

It still lingered during those five years but his now appearance quickly stamped it out. It wasn't until he was used to him and how he now looked that he was pleasent on the eyes. And then he had to go and kiss his head, and he felt a feeling in his chest. Not a crush this time, but something warm was there at the show of affection. Maybe he was touch starved, yes that was it.

After being turned mortal, someone has to take Apollo's job driving the sun chariot. And well, if they take a little revenge and give him sunburn that's totally okay.

MY name is Apollo, and I used to be a god. To be specific the Sun God. But now I'm in a bit of a predicament and can no longer fulfill my godly duties. And so, since the sun runs its usual course, someone else must complete them. I had originally believed it Artemis - because she drives the moon - or Hermes - because of the amount of times I've brought him along with me - but I am sure it is not them. For one, there own godly duties and two, whoever is driving the sun chariot is having great fun trying to melt my skin off. I'm sure my siblings would not.

And when I get back, I might just smite them. Perhaps. Because they seem to only be targeting me and it is not accidentally. Though on the bright side - no Meg your humming is not helping - we'll be approaching Camp Half-Blood soon. Then I'll get to drink the water Meg finished over twenty minutes ago, and yes I am still - as Gen Z would say - salty about it.

What's not on the bright side (other than Meg's humming) is that before we can even pass the boundaries I'm tilting forward and the world is on its axis before unconsciousness claims me. Though I do get to see my - albeit worried - son Will and my other children. So I see that as a plus.
