Let's stay on the BMW builds listing. This time BMW R-series Top 10... A donor bike such characteristic and common, that You have a lot to choose from. There are literally hundreds of them. Personally, I'm not a big fan of this base since most of the builds are done using this huge and ugly stock fuel tank. Or with the recent incarnation - the R NineT - in my opinion, they lost the way with the design. But You can't deny that there is nothing else like these flat-twins on the market. BMW is faithful to the concept and they perfected it for decades. This list is about custom classics. The most common ones - R65, R75, R80, R90, R100... No modern versions (like R1100, R1200 or R NineT etc) are included. Maybe I'll try to build another list consisting only of R NineTs, but this time I tried to find the builds that go crazy with the concept and... most likely swap the fuel tank to save the looks. After shooting photos of Ferraris and McLarens for @MOTORMAVENS and V8 powered track cars for @V8BUILDS at Willow Springs yesterday, I sped back to DTLA to shoot pics of #caferacers, #scramblers, bobbers, #trackers, and other #custommotorcycles at the last two hours for the #OGmotoshow. This motorcycle from #Hutchbilt definitely stood apart in the crowded room filled with other dope bikes. Respect. I probably would have spent the entire day there had I known about it sooner, but I didn't even hear about it until my other friends posted up on Instagram. I'll try to go earlier next time.
