The skeleton had just pulled back a bit from one of the crowds, laughing some as they did. They mostly wanted to be sure they got around to finding and hanging out with a majority of their friends before the ball was over. As they moved, they caught sight of a certain human who looked a little nervous and maybe felt out of place.... Comic smiles and moves up to them, offering a kind and bright grin as they ventured to them.
"Hey there, kiddo. Need a friend to make sure you're not so BONE-ly~?" they ask lightly with a small chuckle.

Papyrus couldn’t help the laugh of delight as Frisk agreed to his plan. He readied himself as they jumped from the couch, their wings opening up. It may not be true flight, but it was at least a little something, and Papyrus was there to catch them so that they wouldn’t get hurt. Fun and safe!
True to his word, he caught the winged human from the air, allowing a small dip so that his bones didn’t hurt Frisk. He held them up then, up above his head.

They think about that a moment before snapping their fingers together with a grin on their face. Before Papyrus could do anything, the kid climbs onto his shoulders. Stretching their wings out to their sides giving shade some how.
The tall skeleton was confused for a moment, letting the tiny human climb him. As soon as the wings come out, he smiles wide. “TINY HUMAN!! ARE YOU ATTEMPTING TO SHADE THE GREAT PAPYRUS UNDER YOUR LARGE, FEATHERY APPENDAGES?! I THINK IT’S WORKING!!”
