Moonlight severed into the quiet serendipity of night, dappled passage through the heightened umbrage of trees thickly fortified and silhouetted within the darkness. Branches wove interminable tapestries of lace, meandering and cresting into the sky to obscure the Nosferatu of such tenebrous cadence, the star-spangled sky offering subtle compliments of celestial illumination where moonlight failed. The celestial monument receded behind a swath of opaque clouds, the edges tinged with a phosphorous silver as the moonlight managed to strike through. However, such were inconsequential details only artists concerned themselves with. For the vampire donning crimson raiment and observing the scintillating nightscape above, such was of little concern to the Nosferatu. And yet, upon his trek through the woods enshrouded in darkness, he couldn’t help but notice a humanoid silhouette within his sights.
