Don't you think Jeetu from Videocon is like a younger version of Rehman, especially in the scene where he threatens Radheshyam Tiwari (Ulfat's father) saying that he will take Anjali (Ulfat) away within 24 hours right in front of his eyes.

Randomly I think of Radheyshyam Tiwari saying these things:
1. Arey tumhare sar mein bheja hai ki bhajiya hai?!
2. OH OH VIDEOCON! ye iss cd player ki laash lekar jao
3. Apni nahi, meri Mrs. Hai! Hamara joint account nahi hai
4. CHUP KAR BHIKARI!!!!

need a dedicated OTT platform for all the old cartoons and tv shows now more than ever, need to feel the comfort, need to sing along the theme songs, need to just feel like a second grade student once again
I was thinking about my childhood TV shows the other day... Let's face it guys, if you're a 90s Indian kid (or a parent/sibling of one), you must have watched at least one, if not more of these "cartoons"! Bob the Builder, Popeye, Looney Tunes, Oswald, Pingu, Shinchan, Make Way for Noddy... the list goes on and on!
Every chance I got, I'd sit in front of the TV and watch Pokemon, Digimon, Dragon Ball Z and all these amazing shows that used to air on Cartoon Network.
Tom and Jerry is a timeless classic I used to love watching! Even in college, me and my friends would often stay back after classes to hang out and sometimes, we would watch a couple of the older episodes... Sometimes, I would find my parents watching an episode of the show late at night if there’s no good movies airing on the cable.
As a child, I especially liked detective cartoons. Over at Hungama Channel, Detective Conan was - and also is until it ends (seriously, it has 900+ episodes, when *is* it going to end!?) - another show I liked to follow. It's the show that got me (and I'm sure many others in India) into anime and manga.
But, I'd have to say, as far as Baby Me was concerned, Scooby Doo was the best show to ever exist. A group of close friends who got into ridiculous situations and solved 'ghostly' mysteries? That was everything Child Me could ever want!
I remember, at the time, I used to imagine growing up and having a group of friends like that, especially since I was a shy kid and didn't have too many friends. I'd imagine going off on exciting adventures and solving mind-boggling mysteries!
Sometimes, I really do miss those simple times...
