This is kind of a #tbt cause I'm late in posting this. On Saturday, @ahhmissogrady @brennacorporal @mary_millus @rachelkatie_ and I had the extreme pleasure of finally seeing the premiere of my favorite musical, The Hunchback of Notre Dame at @papermillplayhouse we got to meet Erik Liberman who played Clopin, @ciarareneeofficial who played Esmeralda, and Michael Arden who played Quasimodo. We also got to meet @andrewsamonsky played Phoebus, but there were so many people at the stage door that we weren't able to get a picture with him. I wish I could express to this wonderful cast how much this show meant to me and how moved I was by it. I have been obsessed with the first version of this show from Berlin for the past five years, and finally being able to see its revamped, English premiere was a dream come true. The is truly a piece of art, and I was so moved by it that I sobbed during the whole final sequence of the show and I was shaking when I left the theater. Thanks to all involved for giving the world this beautiful piece of art that still gives me chills as I think about it and as I almost tear up while writing this. For some reason Disney won't bring this masterpiece to Broadway, so PLEASE if you haven't already, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE sign the petition to bring it to Broadway at the link below.
