imagine Rocky finding out that Stratt can sing so so well,, pleaseee Stratt would want to find out if she could manage to sing a very simple Eridian song, what if she tells Rocky about being in the Eastern German youth choir and that, while humans only have one set of vocal chords, they can group together and learn to sing different parts, what if what if

Before it ever led up to this conversation though, Rocky was mad because they found out Stratt hadn't been calling them by a human name like they had for her in their own language- and was instead being called 'alien' the entire time.

Eva had been putting it off, she wasn't one to give names, names make things personal, but she knew it wasn't right. It was rude, simple as that, so she apologized when Rocky called her out. Still, she struggled to come up with something good to name them and avoided thinking about anything with meaning back on Earth.

‘These past few weeks, are the most fun I’ve had in ages… years… maybe ever…’

And Stede just goes ‘humm’, widens his eyes a little, gives a slight nod, looks down. He’s listening. He’s doing the Stede-thing he’s so good at - listening impartially as he did in the bathtub scene. But his wonderful ability to listen without prejudice means he completely misses the nuance here.

‘Humm…’

Ed’s talking really slowly, waiting for the penny to drop…

But he has to go even slower and spell it out.

‘So……so…er…I reckon..what..makes Ed happy…is……….you.’

I’ve tried to reflect above the pauses Ed takes whilst saying this line. We all know it, but seeing it transcribed really brings home how nervous Ed is. I’m just amazed he doesn’t throw up.

And Stede’s eyebrows and sideways smile say ‘Me?’

…because Stede still has the wrong ears on!

He has the wrong ears on for many reasons, both positive and negative. Yes, he has very low self-esteem, no one has ever shown love to him; yes, he’s never likely felt desire before, or just thinks it’s not for him. But he’s also a kind, empathetic, altruistic listener. He doesn’t realise he is the subject of the conversation. Not in a million years does Stede think the answer to ‘what makes Ed happy’ will be him.

And he’s still confused, really. So Ed just has to say to hell with it and kiss him. Show him Ed’s feelings and his own. It’s such a lovely awakening.

The cloud, usually passing without caring, can turn into a storm, destroying everything on it's way.

Today he's a résident, one day he is a knight, another day he is a savior.

Fire and water, even so different, are beautifull when dancing together.

i wonder how much he would regret accepting that helmet, once again betraying Charles’s trust and now never being able to gain it back

either Erik leaves the horsemen (maybe bringing some of them with him) and rallies the xmen to go kill Apocalypse or out of such anger and grief and regret he does end up destroying the world and he has to live with the fact that everything he loves will be destroyed

i don’t think he would even have any free will anymore since Apocalypse has Charles’s telepathy

or maybe he still has the helmet who knows
