Okay, it's messy, but what about Jane still complaining to Maura that she doesn't have anything edible in her kitchen while Maura takes an interminable amount of time to make herself a cup of THAT coffee which comes from who knows where in the world. And then comes Andy, dressed in her uniform, ready to go. Jane with her usual sarcasm makes a comment about the food like "Oh, I see why you're leaving so early. There's nothing to eat in there." To which Andy replies, "Don't worry, I already ate. And it was delicious.", kissing Maura and giving her a wink before heading for the door. Jane's eyes dart back and forth between the firefighter and the doctor who can't help but smile, a rosy complexion to her cheeks. It is then that the realization comes to her, her mouth forming an exaggerated O. "Oh.my.god."
