Humanrithm: why data without people is not enough.
Surfing the Web I have found a great slidedeck of Guillaume Decugis (CEO at Scoop.it). I'm absolutly agree with him. In the near future algorithms can not replace the human in issue of content selection.
Until now neural networks and complex recommendation systems are picking content not enough quality. Especially for clearly defined topics in B2B - area - only hardcore, only manually. Speaking of entertainment and procrastination, the services like Stumbleupon copes with its task to have fun. But they advise websites falling into one of the categories identified quite large (finance, machinery, IT, food, etc.).
