People on my twitter are complaining about how wrong it is to have kids on leashes at the state fair. if you think it's so wrong, go fucking keep an eye on their kid for them. do you even realize how busy it is at the state fair and how easy it is to get lost even at our age? it's not a fucking dog collar and rope around their neck, it's a fucking harness around their torso. it doesn't hurt them, it's not inhumane. the only reason the child is pissed is because now they can't fuck the day up by getting kidnapped and wandering off without realizing maybe they shouldn't fucking do that. they don't realize they need to stay by their parents, and for that and all the added distractions the fair has, it makes sense for them to keep track of their wild and energetic kids. shut up, stop saying it's "messed up" and "wrong" when all you're doing is walking around stuffing your face with food and not having to keep track of another human life.
