And the last one xD Sabriel and the words.... cold, sea, knitting. You are so amazing for doing this! Then you are just an amazing person with a fantastic blog ♥
okayy so I’m sorry but it simply refused to stay in the drabble format bc my unwritten sea witches AU jumped out at me from this prompt and demanded a timestamp. and seeing as I’ve absolutely no idea when or if it’s gonna be written I just couldn’t say no so here I hope you enjoy <3
The air isicy and bitter, wind threatening to tear Sam’s jacket off as he walks downthe path towards the sea. Gabriel is already there, in their usual spot, sitting atop the rock outcrop, basking in pale winter sun, flicking his taillazily every time a wave catches it. Sam chuckles and climbs onto the rock, settling behind Gabriel and wrapping both arms around his waist.
“Hey, Ariel,” he murmurs into Gabriel’s ear.
Gabriel snortsand tries to push Sam’s face away. Sam laughs and kisses his fingertips.
“Shut up. It’stoo cold to be human today. Change and see for yourself. We could go for a swim?”
“Nah, I’mgood,” Sam says, trailing butterfly kisses along Gabriel’s neck. “Maybe later.”
“You’recold,” Gabriel says, getting a hold of Sam’s hand. “Hang on. I’ve got somethingfor ya.”
He reachesfor his oilskin bag, pulling what looks like a heap of seaweed out of it.
“What isit?”
“A present.”
Gabriel shiftsand turns so that he’s facing Sam, and pushes the heap onto his lap. At acloser look, it turns out to be the softest and lightest sweater Sam’s everseen. He can’t help but stare at it in awe: it looks as if it were made of somedark green cloud with bits of setting sun stuck inside it.
“Come on,try it on. I wanna see,” Gabriel says, pulling at Sam’s jacket.
Sam obedientlytakes his jacket the rest of the way off and pulls on the sweater. The firstthing his brain registers is that he’s no longer cold. There’s a faint smell ofsalt and seaweed and sunlight, and he remembers the day they first swamtogether. He isn’t aware that he’s talking out loud, remembering that day tothe tiniest detail, until Gabriel starts saying the words with him.
“…and thenwe spent the rest of the day lying at the bottom of that lagoon, watching thesun slowly sink into the water. Your first underwater sunset, Sammy. As mygrandma used to say, no sweater is complete until you weave a good memory intoit. That was a beautiful day. I thought you might like it.”
“I love it,”Sam says, pulling Gabriel close, kissing the tip of his nose, smiling. “It’sperfect. But how did you make it? Magic?”
“Nope. Noneat all.”
“But… buthow?”
“Why, Sammy, can’t you see? I’m very good at knitting.”
want one?
Little Sammy is a bit of a trouble maker, but it’s okay because they're cute ;P
Goodbye art-block, hello human Sammy :P
I’m sure this kind of thing has been done to death but here we are. And I have more where this came from...
drawing the freelancers as humans seemed like a popular suggestion so I gave Sam a try
kinda just drew off the top of my head here to avoid copying any potential existing human!Sams so I hope this doesn't look too dumb

Part 1: Denial
Quinn was doing pretty well. Spectacularly well, actually, for someone who had just lost her mate for an indefinite amount of time. She hated having lost him to everything she had been trying to avoid; Expectations, distance, being different, authority. She had never hated something so much in her life. Desperately, she tried to remember what her life was like before Sam. She couldn't. Her life had begun that night on the church balcony, with clouds swelling and thunder rumbling, Puck watching them in the distance, watching them as she let him kiss her. Quinn had her running shoes on once more, remembering how it was what she did when she tried to push thoughts out of her head. She had run and avoided and pretended, had become a pro at it, and she could do it now.
So she ran, ran fast enough that if someone had been watching her long enough, they'd know that she was no mere human. She ran hard enough, fast enough to where her lungs could explode, to where her thoughts could dissolve into nothing. To where her head only echoed with the thumping of her heart, the pumping of her blood and the air struggling to climb into her chest. Finally, at some point, she had found her way home, her body spent. As soon as she hit her bedroom doorway, her mother was there with her wide curious eyes, wanting to know where Quinn had been, why she had been gone long, how she was feeling, what she was thinking. Quinn answered like she had learned to over the years, trying to mask just how much she was forcing down. "Quinn, sweetie, you're so distant lately. And I know you've been spending a lot of your time away, but you seem like you've changed." Her mother's voice cut into her fog of thoughts as Quinn was in the bathroom, starting the shower, feeling the hot water begin to thaw her out. A lump formed in her throat and she bit her lip hard, shaking her head even though her mother couldn't see her. "I'm the same, Mom." She called out. "Nothing's changed."
You've Dug Your Grave, Now Lie In It || Fabrevans
Quinn was out of breath by the time she reached Sam's flat, which was rare for her so that's how you know she had run fast. She was only relieved for a second that he hadn't locked the door, and then the far off faint smell of blood hit her and that relief dissolved. He was hurt and he was bleeding, or had already bled. And she couldn't control herself. Or maybe she could, if she focused enough. She moved into the bedroom, finding a pale and battered Sam collapsed on the bed. "Sam," She breathed before she was moving gingerly on the bed with him, noticing that the silver rosary still hung on his neck. She could've cried. Swallowing thickly, Quinn blinked furiously before she leaned over her, taking account of his injuries. He seemed to be folded over his ribcage and his eye was bruising. She tried to get him to sit up, to talk, to prove that he wasn't going to die. "C'mon," She muttered, biting her lip hard enough to make it bleed. "Let me take you to the hospital."
