Huinca" Huinca" 1972 + Litto Nebbia, Huinca "Huinca - Despertemos En América"1994 CD Compilation (La Pesada, Billy Bond And The Jets, Color Humano, La Máquina De Hacer Pájaros, Los Gatos, Los Músicos Del Centro, Moro-Satragni, Riff, Septima Brigada, Serú Girán,Los Gatos Salvajes, members) Argentina Prog Blues Rock
Huinca" Huinca" 1972 One of the Litto Nebbia albums that is less known and this is not because it does not present an excellent quality of music, but because of the short duration that this band had also integrated by Oscar Moro on drums, being forced to record his only album to "hidden" of the official record label of Nebbia (RCA) at the time, where he uses the pseudonym 'Huinca' and appears on his back on the cover to not be recognized. The most surprising thing is that Litto in this LP appears playing nothing more than the electric guitar leaving all the piano and organ work in charge of Gabriel Ranelli who does an excellent job shining on the keyboards in the magnificent "Chocolates (For You)" which also includes a guitar solo by Lito! But it is not until the last track of the album "Por Algo Es" where it is dispatched at ease with the electric guitar!, With guitar taps and solos that dominate the whole theme. In this LP Litto is released by abandoning the fusion of rock with folklore and writes much more related themes with the progressive symphonic as the fantastic "Alunar". There is also an excellent blues "Chains and Currency" that starts with a very good solo of Litto on the guitar which is repeated in the middle of the song, along with the great Ranelli organ solo that can also be seen in another prominent theme "Scream and Love Is Fight" much more rocker and towards the end something heavy. Another excellent theme is "I Am Your Voice" that stands out alongside those mentioned above. The excellent composition of all the themes of this LP along with the natural way that Litto Nebbia has to sing, well in the style of the '70s and that despite having recorded many works never left, they refer us to a trip for the best of those golden '70s. An excellent, highly recommended work of La Nave del Rock Argento !!!.....~
Huinca was a blues-rock combo fronted by Argentinian musician/vocalist Litto Nebbia. The project grew out of his 1971 solo album Nebbia’s Band, which features the same rhythm section of bassist Cacho Lafalce and drummer Oscar Moro. Nebbia and Moro had earlier played together in the 1960s beat group Los Gatos. Huinca recorded one album before Nebbia resumed hi....~
Huinca was the name of the album and the group, and the only proper name that appeared on the cover of LP, since Litto Nebbia had a contract with RCA in force at the time of the release of this album, which was released by Trova, independent label . As a result, it is also that Litto is only seen on his back, to avoid possible judgments. As we can see, both Litto's enormous ease of recording records, sometimes up to five per year, and his conflicts with multinational labels have their origin in those days. Because this album came out almost at the same time as Nebbia's Band and shortly before we woke up in America, which was censored only by name. The recording and the edition of the disc are dated in 1972, and the reason why the group did not continue as such was that two of its members, Gabriel Ranelli (piano, organ) and Cacho Lafalce (bass) went to live in Canada . On the drums was the remembered Oscar Moro, former Los Gatos, as Nebbia, and future Serú Girán. There were a dozen live performances, and that was it. A shame, because you can see in this album how good they sounded. There are some songs that refer, still, to the sound of Los Gatos, such as I am your voice, a track that starts at Side B, but in general this album announces more to the new Nebbia, which would end up consolidating with Melopea. Shouting and loving is fighting (2) has those choirs so typical of Rosario, and Chains and currency (4) is already a classic theme, which occasionally still plays. Now with the remastered audio, and finally separated from his twin Awakening in America (which was how it came out on CD), you can see the pianos and organs of Ranelli, a very ductile and precise keyboardist, who made Nebbia concentrate only on the Electric guitar and singing. A great album, long hidden......~

Litto Nebbia,Huinca "Huinca - Despertemos En América"1994 CD Compilation Leader of Los Gatos, Pioneer Argentine Rock Band, Felix Francisco Nebbia Corbacho, commonly known as Litto, was born in Rosario on July 21 1948 and he had his first hit with "La balsa" a single from 1967 which sold more than 200.000 copies, composed together with Tanguito. Due to " musical differences" and, mainly, he did not know which were the next steps to take, Litto left Los Gatos in '69 and, from then onwards, he had a long solo career. With more than 100 albums released so far and much collaboration in other artists’ records, he is by far the most prolific musician of Argentina. In 1983, for example, he released 5 albums. "I practically don’t select the material, I let the public do so", he would admit later on. " Better instrumentalist than singer, better at melodies than writing", defined by Eduardo Berti. His first album, "Litto Nebbia" (1969), came out at the same time of the movie "El extrano de pelo largo" directed by Julio Porter, where many of his songs appear in such film. Before that he had recorded the single "Rosemary" / "Lo que te hace falta es amor". In 1971 he broke the division between rock and folklore, when he played "chacareras" accompanied by his percussionist Domingo Cura. That year he formed la Nebbia's Band, whit which he recorded an LP. His next group was Huinca, together with Oscar Moro, Cacho Lafalce and Gabriel Ranelli. In 1973 he started to like jazz, with the Litto Nebbia Trio. During the military dictatorship he lived in Mexico, where he wrote his most famous song, "Solo se trata de vivir". In 1982 he joined Los Musicos del Centro, whit whom he made two records. In May 1983 he participated in El Rosariazo in Obras, a show that gathered Juan Carlos Baglietto, Silvina Garre, Fito Paez and Jorge Fandermole, among others. In 1986 he released his 50th LP: "Demasiadas maneras de no saber nada", recorded in the RCA studios. He was accompanied by Manolo Yanes (synthesizers and machines), Cesar Franov (bas), Norberto Minichilo (drums), Cacho Tehera (percussion), Fats Fernandez (trumpet), Bernardo Baraj (sax), Ricardo Lew (guitar and arrangements), Lalo de los Santos (bass and backing vocals) y Alejandro del Prado (backing vocals). Owner of his own record company "Melopea" he released more than 200 albums of national music, unreleased material of Cobian and Cadicamo, Goyeneche live, the Cuchi Leguizamon... music that was not so commercial for the big companies. «For me, it is not a business. If I do it well I will make some profit, which will let me do other things, that’s all. I am not a patron and I don’t make big profits either». A clear example was the record "Nebbia canta Cadicamo" (1995), a compilation of previously unreleased tangos that Enrique Cadicamo had composed and Litto rescued from forgetfulness. Among them, "Nada me debes", "Carne y una" and "Sea breve". The material was presented at Teatro General San Martin before almost 900 people. "Paginas de vida" is the name of a CD-ROM (second of the national rock, after Los Siete Delfines) through which there is access to all de Nebbia’s biography and the story of his groups. .....~ Tracklist

El hombre suburbano de la Patria es lo que más le duele al poder concentrado, incluido el movimiento obrero.
